Maybe Maybe Mingus is a contemporary jazz ensemble hailing from the esteemed ArtEZ Conservatory in the Netherlands. The band consists of five exceptionally talented musicians, all of whom share a profound admiration for the legendary jazz bassist and composer Charles Mingus. Their music is a vibrant blend of Mingus’ complex, emotionally charged compositions and their own original works, inspired by his bold, avant-garde approach to jazz. The ensemble features Marius Holland on piano, Camilo Bastidas on tenor saxophone, Lukas Proske on accordion, Leander Seekings on drums, and Jerom van der Laar Wijen on bass.
