At first glance, JABODAHA seems like the ordinary jazz quartet. Drums, bass, piano and guitar are played by four ArtEZ students with German and Polish roots. And yes, they will play a few of their favourite standards for you. Still – listening to their original compositions written by different members of the band – you can hear a mixture of different musical backgrounds that go beyond the jazz realm.
